The Jury-System™ is a cloud-based web application — all you need is an internet connection. Each client gets their own fully customized, SSL-encrypted subdomain (think https://your-school.jury-system.com), set up from the ground up to make juries and auditions as smooth as possible for everyone involved. Questions? We'd love to hear from you — reach out online or give us a call at 575-517-9044.

A tale of two jury days.

Would you rather look at this: …or this?

What we take care of for you:

  • Your own secure home base — we create and configure your subdomain and make it the launching point for your entire jury process.
  • Forms built your way — repertoire records and evaluation forms are prepared to your exact specifications, with as many different versions of each as you need.
  • Scheduling, handled — we set up your exam or audition schedules and signup forms exactly as you want them: number of slots, slot length, start and end times, breaks, dates, all of it.
  • User management — we administer user accounts and grant faculty access to the people you designate. You tell us who gets in; we handle the rest.

Here's how it all comes together:

  • Flexible login options — accounts can be created from scratch or integrated with your institution's Single Sign-On system, whichever works best for you.
  • Students do their part online — they schedule their jury exams and submit their repertoire records directly on the site, no paperwork required.
  • Jurors get everything in one click — jury members click a student's name in the schedule to instantly open their repertoire record alongside a ready-to-use evaluation form.
  • Real-time results delivery — comments and grades are completed on a laptop or tablet and emailed immediately to the student, their teacher, or any other recipients you choose.
  • Smarter, faster feedback — frequently used comments can be saved for each jury member and dropped into an evaluation with a single click.
  • Specialized symbol support — need a flat sign, a fermata, or an IPA character? No problem. Musical and International Phonetic Alphabet symbols can be inserted directly into evaluation forms — a must for vocalists and their coaches.
  • Your data, your way — all results are stored securely in the database and can be exported in a variety of formats whenever you need them for assessment or record keeping.
  • NASM-ready — the data you need for accreditation reporting is right there in your database, organized and exportable whenever you need it.

Built by a Musician, for Musicians

The Jury-System™ wasn't designed by a software company trying to break into the education market. It was created by a working musician — a French horn professor with years of university teaching experience — who sat through many jury seasons and knew from the inside exactly what faculty, students, and administrators actually need.

That background shows in the details. The support for IPA characters isn't a feature someone thought to add after a focus group — it's what you put in when you've spent decades writing jury evaluations yourself. The workflow reflects how music faculty actually think about the jury process, not how a generic scheduling tool would model it.

The Jury-System™ has been in continuous development and real-world use for over 13 years, refined semester by semester based on feedback from faculty and students at institutions across the country. It isn't a newcomer with a polished pitch deck. It's a proven tool built by someone who understands your world from the ground up — because it used to be their world too.
